Many couples intending to get married now automatically consider doing this outside of their own country as it is so much easier to do these days. Americans are not immune from this phenomena either even though they have some beautiful places and beaches of their own. It is now quite normal for them to book a Caribbean beach wedding and not even consider having at in their own country. Of course the probable reason for this is the excellent quality of beaches found in the Caribbean islands - something that appears to be the main attraction for tourists.

Caribbean Wedding

The Caribbean climate is also much milder than that found it the USA so the beaches are much more suitable to hold a wedding at any time of year. Moreover, many of these islands have identified the need for many couples who would like to say ‘I do’ in the presence of their friends and family standing on a pearly white beach with the clear blue sky as the canopy over their heads. To improve upon this further, some ‘all-inclusive’ resorts are now able to offer a Caribbean beach wedding at no extra charge as part of the package. This of course makes it easy to enjoy the honeymoon immediately after the wedding without having to leave the venue, thereby enjoying it for longer.

Most couples will be provided with a location within the resorts development that is located in a secluded part of it and away from those that have attended the happy event. Of course not to spoil the scenario but if you intend to have a Caribbean beach wedding you will have to ensure you are conversant with local laws relating to a wedding of non-residents. Please note that each Caribbean Island is governed by its own legalities which the couple has to comply with, before their wedding can take place there.

You may find that you have to wait a certain period before the marriage can take place and you will also in all possibility need to obtain a marriage license as well. Generally the fees that are charged for these licenses range from 50 dollars up to 300, but this depends on the type of wedding ceremony the couple will be having and where it is going to take place. It is also important that each couple is aware of the passport regulations and ensure that theirs are valid prior to them flying to the Island of their choice for their Caribbean beach wedding. The last thing you want is to be refused entry to the island you have especially chosen because one or both passports are invalid.
