There is plenty of great views of the Ocean since the Pacific ocean is on one side of the island and the Caribbean Seas on the other side. Those who wish to ride the waves of the Pacific Ocean can choose to stay along the coast of the Pacific Ocean but those who desire to breathe the fresh breezy air of the Caribbean Sea can choose to stay at the Caribbean side.

A Costa Rican vacation will have much in store for you. Amaze yourself with the variety of wildlife in this country- from macaws to turtles to morpho butterflies, an animal lover can find paradise right here in this small country. There are rainforest tours you can join and safari trips for the adventurous. The migrating whale, dolphins and sea turtles can be seen along the coastline of this country at specific times of the year.

The Arenal that is located at the northern part of the country is an active volcano. The other volcano is located at the midpoint and there is another at the southern end of this country. Much of the most lush and beautiful plant life is near the volcanoes because of the ashes it gives off actually works as a fertilizer since the lava had burned away old plants giving new growth nutrient rich soil to grow from. Many people come from far and wide to spend a few days basking in the sun and taking in some of the culture and language since Costa Rica’s national language is Spanish.

The dry season in Costa Rica starts from December all through May which would make your visit pleasant without being caught in thunderstorms. It is only a few miles from the equator, so select the right time to vacation here. Be alert to any possible disasters and select your tour guide carefully as there are stories of Americans getting lost in foreign lands because they followed a group that they did not know well. To have a meaningful and enjoyable vacation in Costa Rica, make sure you do your homework accordingly and plan the trip well.
